Numicon kits are widely used to help young children understand numbers and maths. Every Child Our Future funded the purchase of 5 Numicon homework kits for every reception class in Guernsey, plus specifc Numicon training for LSAs and teachers. Further Numicon kits and training were provided for all pre-schools in Guernsey. A Guernsey teacher was funded to train as an accredited Numicon trainer, so that further training could be given on-island.
